Our machining and engineering division can provide a wide variety of solutions for your needs, including utilisation of both traditional machine tools and CNC machine tools.

Engineering

Fowler & Holden Ltd specialise in the machining of medium and large cast components. Other items commonly supplied from our engineering division include: bearing parts, shafts, bushes, special bolts, gears, pinions, trunnions, running rings, guides, pipework, impellers, rope wheels, and rod guides. Our experienced engineers and machinists coupled with an extensive array of machine tools can provide our customers with a one stop solution to their engineering requirements.

We can also provide advice on design, materials, and manufacture, as well as a drawing service. We offer a complete refurbishment or replacement service of engineering components and can control the manufacture from initial drawings, patterns and castings through to final machining and assembly.

Our fabrication department compliments the engineering facility and is has a range of facilities including MIG, TIG, Arc and brazing techniques as well as traditional skills such as white metal bearing production or repair and heavy duty riveting. Components can be supplied in the machined or heat treated condition.
